Established in 2012, Renegades Netball are proud to offer opportunities to young girls and women to develop their netball skills and lead healthy lifestyles. We are a small club and thrive on good vibes and team player friendship within our squad. We all work together as one playing, training, coaching and socializing as one. Renegades girls can become team members from 6 years old. We have no maximum age. Once a netball player always a netball player.
We offer three sessions per week. These sessions are a mixture of fun games, targeted drills for the development of key netball skills as well as always giving girls the chance to play matches at the end of the session. Girls can play socially or if they show enthusiasm for more competitive sport, we select girls to play on our squad teams to play in leagues in the city as well as various tournaments.
As well as these weekly sessions, during the school holidays we run netball camps, which are always well attended and very much enjoyed. During term time we host tournaments to give our players chances to play competitively against other clubs and schools, as well at to raise money for charity.
There is a big focus on fundraising in our club. We are looking currently how we can support teams in different countries, providing them with equipment for example to make sure everyone who wants to play this great sport has all the facilities they need.
We also recently won the CHANGE4LIFE at the Active Westminster Awards 2020. This award recognises projects which have made a diference to children, young people and/or families's health and well being through physical acitivity. Thank you very much to all who nominated us and the team at Active Westminster for putting together the evening, we are very proud to have received this award!
